Good son sit here by my side

You are set to enter into the world

With all its joys and sorrows

I have a few things to tell you

That you may be forewarned

Good son you should know

That if there is one thing you should own

Its Love, Love is the path way to joy

It will guide you through many things

Son there is an evil that dwell in us all

It is the crafty sin of Pride

Now son Pride its self as a feeling is not a sin

It is how you act because of it

If you act accordingly to what is easy to do

Your pride will consume you

If you act and take the harder path

To love and show charity

Your Pride will have no place in your heart

What I have thus said is very important

For these things are everywhere in life

If nothing my next advice will save you much pain

Know this good son

That in the world there will always be someone better then you

They may be fairer, wiser, or stronger

They may be more loving and caring then thee

Know this good son

This is but a natural course, when the feeling of envy and hate enter into your heart

Pay them no head, look forward and know this

You are Gods loved one and he has a plan for you

He will take you down a path that is hard, not easy

But my good son, Your Father knows you

He knows your strengths your weaknesses

He knows when you, at the point where you cannot take any more

My child he knows you better then yourself

God will make you a great man if you let him do his work

Oh I have much advice

But the last thing which I wish you to know

Is always be on your knees to your God

Always know that humility will save you

From that beast of torture and despair

If you are humble that great liar

That great demon of the depths of hell cannot enter into your heart

For if you are humble my son

There is only room for one person

The person of light

Charity is his name

Good news is what he brings
